 Calling all mutual aid groups in Iraq, Syria, Sudan – and beyond!

Karama is expanding its Mutual Aid Network — and we’re inviting groups on the frontlines of crisis to join.

We know communities are already leading the response: neighbours supporting neighbours, grounded in dignity and solidarity. You deserve recognition, visibility, and stronger connections.

💡 What the network offers:
✔️ Visibility & recognition – making your work seen and respected.
✔️ Peer learning – safe spaces to share strategies with other groups.
✔️ Practical support – tackling barriers like admin, logistics, and access.
✔️ Allies, not gatekeepers – links with international actors and diaspora networks.
✔️ Collective advocacy for resources – while Karama does not provide funding now, we will push together to mobilise resources for members of the network.

🌍 While our main focus is Iraq, Syria, and Sudan, we also welcome applications from mutual aid groups in other contexts.

كرامة توسّع شبكتها لـ المجموعات المجتمعية، وندعو المجموعات العاملة في الخطوط الأمامية للأزمات للانضمام إلينا.

نحن نعلم أن المجتمعات تقود الاستجابة بالفعل: الجيران يساعدون الجيران، بروح الكرامة والتضامن. أنتم تستحقون الاعتراف، وزيادة الظهور، وروابط أقوى.

💡 ما الذي تقدمه الشبكة:

✔️ إبراز واعتراف – لنجعل عملكم مرئيًا ومعترفًا به.

✔️ تعلّم متبادل – مساحات آمنة لتبادل الخبرات مع مجموعات أخرى.

✔️ دعم عملي – لمواجهة العقبات الإدارية واللوجستية ومشكلات الوصول.

✔️ حلفاء لا أوصياء – روابط مع الفاعلين الدوليين والجاليات في الخارج.

✔️ مناصرة جماعية للموارد – كرامة لا تقدّم تمويلاً في الوقت الحالي، لكننا سنسعى معًا للحصول على الموارد لأعضاء الشبكة.

🌍 بينما ينصب تركيزنا الرئيسي على العراق وسوريا والسودان، فإننا نرحب أيضًا بالطلبات من مجموعات الدعم الذاتي في أماكن أخرى.
