Mutual aid groups and community-based organisations are leading the way in humanitarian response. They save lives, support communities, and create solutions that are dignified, effective, and locally led.
Our goal is to see these local actors fully recognised, resourced, and empowered so that humanitarian aid is shaped by the people it serves. By centring their knowledge and leadership, we aim to build a system that is rooted in solidarity, driven by communities, and capable of responding to crises with lasting impact.
